The Hudson Depratment of Fire recently placed into service with C. H. Evans Hook & Ladder Company, No. 3 a 2001 KME "AerialCat" 95' 3 section rearmount tower. The truck has a "Renegade" 6 man cab with a 12" split raised roof extending forward of the driver for visibility in setting up the tower. The body is aluminum. The truck has a Hale QMAX 2000 gpm pump with 4 crosslays (two 1.75" & two 2.5"), two 3" discharges, two 2.5" discharges, and a 5" electronically controlled discharge for the tower waterway. There is a 5" rear intake for external supply to the waterway. There is a 300 gallon poly tank.

The truck has a computerized jacking and automatic leveling system. Lasers are used to locate jack pad placement. The maximum jacking width of the truck is 16'. Either side can be short jacked. The tower is steel with a 1000 pound tip load at any level.

A 25KW generator supplies electric power to six 1000W quartz lights on the bucket and two 2000W and two 500W quartz lights on the body. There are two 150' electric cord reels plus outlets and rope lighting in the bucket. The bucket includes a 1,500 gpm automatic nozzle along with three 2.5" discharges. The bucket has 100' of preconnected 1.75" hose along with 50' of 2.5" hose with a distributor nozzle. There are four outlets for prepiped air in the bucket. Inside the last fly are mounted a 16' roof ladder and pike poles. A Stokes basket is mounted on the outside of the tower.
