The Manchester, New Hampshire Airport Fire Department is proud to announce the recent delivery of a brand
new OSH-KOSH TI-3000 AFFF Vehicle. The new OSH-KOSH has a 8V Detroit Diesel 536 HP with a 2000 GPM
structural pump package. Extinguishing agent capacity is 3000 gallons of water and 420 gallon AFFF Foam.
Complimentary agent is 400 lbs. of environmentally safe HALON. The new arrival also features the latest technology
from the makers of the SNOZZLE. The Snozzle has a 53' articulating boom with capability to pierce an aircraft fuselage
and provide interior fire extinguishment. All three agents can be discharged through the piercing nozzle.
The Snozzle
Tip has many features that include a 1000 GPM Master Stream FOG Nozzle and 2 video cameras. One of the safety
features of this apparatus is the FLIR Thermal Image Camera, The camera gives the driver the capability to operate
the apparatus in zero visibility from a dash mounted video screen. The second tip mounted camera is a regular
Video Recorder that can also be viewed from the cab monitor. The interior cab is set up with a VCR Video Cassette
Recorder to record the incident events on VHS.
The new unit is currently in service and protecting the flying public at
Manchester Airport's Index "C" facility.
