Monroeville Volunteer Fire Company No.4 recently took delivery of a 2001 Spartan/Saulsbury, 21' Walk-In Heavy Rescue Squad. Unit has seating for 6 and is equipped with a 28' Wilburt light tower, air cascade system, medium & high pressure air bags, para-tech air shores, Hurst rescue system consisting of 2 simul units, spreaders, cutters, rams, maverick tool, 4 hydraulic reels and 2 air reels. Unit also has swift water and rope rescue gear, 2 air conditioner units for rehab and various other hand, power and pnuematic tools. Unit meets NFPA Heavy Rescue standards.
