This unit is built on a Pierce Saber Chassis and is powered by a Cummins ISC 350hp engine with a Allison Md 3066 transmission. The cab has a 12" raised roof with a David Clark intercom system, air conditioning and seating for 8 firefighters. The bumper is extended 26" and has a 12,000 lb winch. The generator is a Winco 25 KW PTO generator which powers a Wilburt Night Scan along with several cord reels and Miscellaneous outlets. The truck is equipped with a complete Hurst Tool set up along with Air Bags. It also has a Cascade System. Also featured in the body is a full command desk, with radio and cellular phone communications for major incidents, as well as incidents during foul weather. The unit is equipped for rehab functions, carrying bottled water, Gatorade and an on-board coffee maker. This unit is set up for support functions, such as Search & Rescue, Salvage, Overhaul, Lighting, Ventilation,and Forcible Entry.
