2001 Pierce Quantum. This engine was delivered to Henrico County VA to replace Engine Co. 9's current engine. This Engine is equipped with a Detroit Diesel 60 series engine, Waterous 1500 gpm pump with 750 tank, 10kw hydraulic generator, 6000w light tower, 2-750w quick release light stands, 750w brow light, and a David Clark headset system. Also this truck is equipped with the redesigned ladder rack from Pierce. This truck also carries a full compliment of Advanced Life Support equipment. It is expected for this engine to run in excess of 3000 calls per year.
