2001 Freightliner FL-80 air conditioned chassis custom built by Quality Manufacturing in Talladega, Alabama. 350 h.p. Cummins ISC-350 engine, Allison MD-3066PR automatic transmission w/output retarder, Waterous CSYCX 1250 gpm single stage pump, 1500 gallon water tank with rear remote-operated dump valve.

This pumper-tanker, custom designed and built to our specifications by Quality Manufacturing, was placed into service on February 17, 2001 and will be used primarily as a tanker. Dealer support will be provided by Chief's Fire and Rescue, Inc. of Jefferson, North Carolina.
