2001 Freightliner Pumper

The unit was built by Fort Garry Industries of Winipeg and replaces a 1983 IHC pumper which was sold to the Town of Hague Saskatchewan. It is a 2001 Freightliner FL80 and is supported by a 330 HP caterpillar engine and an Allison automatic transmission. The custom built Crown cab seats four firefighters safely and provides an enclosed envirenment for the pump operator. The pump is a 1050gpm midship and the unit carries 900 gallons of water as well as 40 gallons of class B foam and 20 gallons of class A foam. Some of the features of this unit include on board generator and cord reel, power ladder rack, NFPA lighting package, external air supply for vehicle extrication, checker plate aluminum hose bed cover, and Amdor roll up compartment doors all around.
