Story/Photos by
Pete Hammond

On Wednesday, April 25, units responded to a reported garage fire in Baltimore City.

When crews arrived they found a working garage fire attached to a vacant dwelling. Battalion Chief 3 (Thomas) reported heavy fire showing from the second floor extending into the dwelling.

While responding to this incident, Engine 52 was involved in an accident only ten blocks from the scene. Luckily, no injuries were reported.

Baltimore City Police arrested a juvenile suspected in starting the fire.
