Australian State Emergency Service Extricate Two

Photos/Story by Luke Dam

The SES (State Emergency Service), a volunteer rescue organization in Austrialia, responded to this MVA on June 11.

Witnesses stated that the red car became airborne after the driver passed out at the wheel and lost control before crashing into the white 4x4 which was facing the other way to what it is facing in the pictures. It then came to rest as you see it with the driver and passenger of the red car trapped.

The driver was a "load and go" out the side of the car, whilst the cars were stabilised and the roof removed on the red car before lifting the passenger out with minor injuries.
