This month’s Firehouse is dedicated to Engineer Mark S. Carter, 53, of the Phoenix, AZ, Fire Department; Captain Samuel W. Downing, 45, of the Mobile, AL, Fire-Rescue Department; Firefighter Daniel F. Pujdak, 23, of the FDNY; Firefighter David Allan Rufer, 42, of the Monroe, WI, Fire Department; Firefighter Timothy Sanborn, 56, of Clinton Area Fire and Rescue in St. Johns, MI; and Firefighter Edward Summers, 69, of the Patchogue, NY, Fire Department, who died in the line of duty, June 2007
